Nova Aerospace Founded
Established Nova Aerospace. Defined the mission, set long-term goals, and began researching solid rocket propulsion.
2026
NAR Level 1 Certification
Build and successfully fly a high-power rocket using a certified H or I motor to earn NAR Level 1.
IN PROGRESS2026 - 2027
PCB Development - Flight Computer v1
Design and fabricate a custom flight computer PCB with altimeter, accelerometer, and deployment charge control.
2027
NAR Level 2 Certification
Pass the written exam and fly a rocket on a J, K, or L motor. Integrate the custom flight computer for data logging.
2028
NAR Level 3 Certification
Design, build, and fly an M-class or above rocket with full documentation and review by two TAP members.
2028 - 2029
Custom Solid Rocket Motor R&D
Begin developing a custom solid rocket motor - propellant grain design, casing fabrication, nozzle engineering, and static fire testing.
2029+
Space Shot - Above the Karman Line
The end goal: design and launch a rocket that crosses 100 km altitude. Full custom propulsion, avionics, and recovery systems.
